Mike MaGee - Trumpet player from Lafayette has joined the NIKLBEER Band.. I met Mike in the 70's as we were both members of Allen Wayne's band playing at Signorille's Club (Slicks) in St Martinville... Mike a great addition to the Band...

IT'S ON !!!!--- Yes, The NIKLBEER Cruise 2012 is on.. We will be sailing out of New Orleans on January 14, 2012 on the Humongous --Voyager of the Sea's-- for a 7 day cruise... ports include --Falmouth, Jamaica... Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico... We were waiting to see what Carnival had available but they are a couple of months from announcing anything. Our Cruise is a "Word of Mouth" promotion so we felt the need to do something now. This ship is larger than the Conquest.. It features a Rock-Climbing wall, ICE Rink and a Promanade in the middle of the ship... We will play four theme parties on the ship...We will have access to the Pool deck area as well as the ICE Rink... More news later !!!    Terry

Welcome Back JIMMY,  Jimmy Higginbotham played Sax for NIKLBEER in the late 90's ... Now he's back!

Yes, The 2010 Niklbeer was a HUGE success, despite the cooler than normal weather... The cruisers were great and took it in stride.... We were thinking this might have been our last Cruise, but the 600 plus would have none of it... They circulated a contract (Fake, but Real) around.  Got the band to sign it.... There was a Notary and an Attorney present in the group... It was all done in FUN, but they really want another cruise....So.....This June or July we will announce the date for the Niklbeer Cruise 2012.....We want to wait till then to look at all the options. (any new ships comming in, new ports and others).

I did post some Cruise pics on the web-site...also.... Go to www.youtube.com .....type in Niklbeer   and there are some videos..

Thank you so much for sailing with us.... We had a blast....... Terry
