The 864 Cruisers were all onboard to make this cruise the "Best Ever"
The cruise director has a big roll on setting the tone for those seven days and we have never had someone so good at that job as John & Katrina Blair. AWESOME !!!
The theme partys were great as well as the Mardi Gras deck party...
The Beach Party at Costa Maya was fantastic...

NIKLBEER CRUISE 2014 !!

"Lets do it again".... Sometimes in June we will announce the date of our next cruise.. We will use this time to check out some ships and itineries for our cruising friends .. We heard RCL, NCL and Carnival will have different choices in New Orleans.. So start rolling your nickles and get ready to cruise in January 2014........

Niklbeer Cruise 2012 was a HUGE success....The Voyager of the Sea's was absolutely beautiful...We had a meet and greet near the pool (after the Saints Game) then spent the rest of that day getting around the ship. The next morning Deacon Kincel led the group in a beautiful prayer service... The first party was Sports Team Spirit...We saw Saints, Tigers (LSU, SMSH, Breaux Bridge) Rajun Cajuns, Hockey Jerseys...Football, Baseball,Basketball supporters...even a few Bama's (who were very nice people)...........Night two was 70's night.....Studio B (ice rink) was a great venue with lighting, fog, spot-lights and a huge dance floor...it was really groovy...

The first two sailing days were breezy (like 50 mph)..but the ship really handled it pretty well.The first port Falmouth, Jamaica was so windy the Captain turned around and went to Montego Bay, Jamaica.....went to Margariteville, the sun came out and the weather was GREAT for the rest of the cruise...

The next day was Grand Cayman and 50's night...We saw lots of great 50's outfits...a couple of Elvis's,Blues Brothers, Jail House Rock prisoners, poodle skirts, Grease'ey Hair with T-shirts....That was a Rockin Joint !!

Our last party was Friday heading back home to New Orleans...so a Mardi Gras Party was the only way to do it right...The first three parties were for Niklbeer Cruise members only (580 people) but the Mardi Gras deck party was open the entire ship....We had our 580 plus an additional 1200 friends.....WOW ..We had a great time..everyone was so friendly....This was our 5th cruise and they keep getting better and better !!!

Kinda makes you want to do another one    !!!!


Mike MaGee - Trumpet player from Lafayette has joined the NIKLBEER Band.. I met Mike in the 70's as we were both members of Allen Wayne's band playing at Signorille's Club (Slicks) in St Martinville... Mike's a great addition to the Band...
